Co-hosted by the Thirty-Second District PTA, the League of Women Voters Diablo Valley, and the East Bay Leadership Council this nonpartisan candidate forum for Contra Costa County Superintendent of Schools offers voters a timely opportunity to hear directly from the candidates ahead of the June 2nd primary election.
The County Superintendent is an elected position that serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Contra Costa County Office of Education, with responsibilities that include overseeing county education programs, monitoring and approving school district budgets, supporting educators and students, and serving as a key advocate for public education with policymakers and the broader community.
