Bay Area Council will be at the Bellevue Club in Oakland on Saturday, April 27th from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm. Our biennial event consists of a business meeting, and this year, a special voter service informational training. In conjunction with Carol Moon Goldberg, from LWVCA, we plan a 101 "best practices" event. Carol will report on developing issues at the state level and grant opportunities. 

Last November, public forums across the state were stymied by unforeseen happenings during the events. Our Council offers an opportunity to discuss extreme event challenges, the "empty chair situation", and the high points of collaborating with allies.

This is a must-attend event for those interested in sharpening their voter outreach/service skills.
