The big event for May was our CA Convention 2023, “Power and Possibility”, which was held in San Francisco at the Hyatt Parc Hotel.  The convention was truly wonderful.  All the guest speakers were amazing as were the presenters in workshops.  The LWVC staff put a lot of thought into making this convention strategic and meaningful in many topical areas for our time.

The Diablo Valley League sent seven members, including five delegates, to convention.   A few stayed in the city one or two evenings, while others commuted each day.  Our convention members had time to collaborate among one another in addition to with others from across the state.  For a few of us, it was the first time we were meeting in person.  What a treat! 

All LWVDV convention members left more informed, connected to others across the state, and inspired.  We are ready to plan for the upcoming busy next year.
