Board briefs:
At its meeting on November 9, the LWVDV Board successfully implemented use of the new OWL device for a hybrid virtual/in-person meeting at the Board Room.
The Board took the following actions:
The Board took the following actions:
- Adopted an information security policy for official LWVDV communications banning use of personal contact information.
- Approved an updated Nonpartisan Policy for LWVDV.
- Approved the letter for the annual fundraising card and planned the process of creating and sending the card.
The Board also:
- Heard that LWVC will be doing Pros & Cons videos this year, and agreed to contact St. Mary’s College about an alternative project involving students.
- Received a report from Voter Services about plans for 2024, including the transition from Voter’s Edge to VOTE411.
- Received a briefing from the Treasurer and Membership Chair on upcoming changes in how LWVUS handles memberships, and potential financial impacts to local Leagues.
There was no December Board meeting.

All League meetings are open to the public.
