On March 28 we're coming together in nonviolent direct action in cities across the country to remind this president and the world: America does not belong to strongmen, greedy billionaires, or those who govern through fear. It belongs to the people.

LWVDV will be joining with Indivisible Resisters Contra Costa (IRCC) and Commit to Democracy to form a massive human chain from Walnut Creek to Concord in support of Democracy! Our goal is to have at least 50+ people to fill our designated span (North Main Street in Walnut Creek, in front of Target) with energy, music, and purpose.

We have various activities planned, including a kazoo band and organized chants. You are welcome to bring chairs for your comfort.

IRCC expects a large turnout and will provide safety personnel and ushers to assist with street coverage and participant security.
