Dr. Woods serves as the President of the Inland Empire Concerned African American Churches (IECAAC) that addresses the needs of communities by leading the change necessary to improve them. The organizational mission of IECACC is “community self-sufficiency and sustainability in spiritually, education, community development and economic development through faith-based efforts.” As president of IECAAC, Dr. Woods participates in providing public forums and platforms to those wanting to reach their congregations. The organization is consistently contacted because of its capacity to influence masses of people, including California State University." For more than a decade, California State University San Bernardino has partnered with faith-based leaders to host Super Sunday during the month of February bringing an empowering message to churches throughout California about the importance of preparing for college.

Dr. Woods is also the Senior Pastor and founder of Life Changing Ministries (LCM) Church in San Bernardino.  LCM church has been in the Inland Empire for 33 years.  The goal of LCM is to reach out to people of every nationality and background to develop dedicated disciples who will be doers of God's Word and experience the abundant life! LCM is a non-denominational, family oriented, Bible teaching church nestled in the foothills of San Bernardino. While serving as Senior Pastor of LCM and President of IEAAC, Dr. Woods experienced the true meaning of the “Sandwich Generation,” eldercare to his dad and uncle and childcare to his baby girl Leilani who is in middle school at the same time of being in the community to meet the needs of citizens of the Inland Empire. The biggest obstacle is having the time to devote to the demanding needs of our community. There is much juggling of commitments to make it happen. The good news is that it happens!

Dr. Woods also serves on the City of San Bernardino Task Force working with the Police Department to better the community and lives of those who live in the Inland Empire. In January 2018, Dr. Woods provided leadership to the IECAAC 38th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast, which was held at California State University, San Bernardino.

Dr. Woods’ time and energy, and compassion and sincerity has given the community a reliable, long time member of the community as a resource and interventionist. His church as benefited because the contacts and programs that he interfaces with are now available to his congregation and others.  He is blessed by being a blessing to others. The citizens of the Inland Empire have benefited from Dr. Woods leadership and involvement in community partnerships to better the communities in which we live and serve.   

Dr. Woods is a family man and married to Nicole Woods who works by his side in meeting the needs as    first lady of LCM, father, grandfather and Godfather ensuring community service is a family life style in which they live and serve.
