THE VOTER: MARCH 2007 

March 2007 VOTER includes information on the spending of San Bernardino's Measure Z funds, health care issues that are being reviewed by California's Legislature, and LWV conferences on campaign finance. It also includes LWV information on voting rights for inmates, Sunshine Week, the LWV immigration study, and the upcoming Citizen of Achievement Celebration.
 

THE VOTER: APRIL 2007 ISSUE

April 2007 VOTER includes information on Citizens of Achievement to be honored on April 29; California State University, San Bernardino student referendum; LWV Education Fund; California Air Resources Board Diesel Pollution Workshop.
 
 

THE VOTER: SEPTEMBER 2007

September 2007 VOTER includes information on: How to join the League's Immigration Study that will begin in September 2007. LWVSB and OWL's (League of Women Voters and Older Women's League) partnership in the OneCareNow Campaign for Universal Healthcare. Success for the League's advocacy for Ethics Reform!
 

THE VOTER: OCTOBER 2007

October 2007 VOTER includes information on this year's League focus: immigration issues. The San Bernardino League will vote in January, the first general meeting to discuss the issues will be held in November. Volunteers are needed for voter registration (Oct. 18, 4-6 pm. California State University, San Bernardino) and for a "day before the election" event (Nov. 5, Valley College). There will be a League candidate forum on October 23 at City Hall. The League has announced positions on some initiatives that will be on the February 2008 ballot and have come out against AB 8, a bill on health care that the League feels will do more harm than good.
