THE VOTER: MARCH 2015

The March 2015 issue includes an invitation to our "Overcoming Apathy" meeting on February 28, information on the League of Women Voters of California's strategy for working on policy responses to money in politics, Shirley Harlan's report on her volunteer service to San Bernardino on taking the homeless count, a suggested reading list for those who wish to learn more about money in politics, and an invitation to attend a March 29 Pasadena Playhouse production of Pygmalion that is a fundraiser for Healthcare For All.
 

THE VOTER: JULY 2015

The July 2015 issue includes information on the Annual Meeting that was held in June 2015, information on the state and national study, an outline of the San Bernardino Area League's committees for 2015/16 and a call for volunteers! Please consider contributing your time and talents to help us inform, engage, and motivate voters!
 

THE VOTER: AUGUST 2015

The August VOTER include information on upcoming voter registration efforts, the candidates meeting (which has been moved from Oct. 15 to Oct. 8), LWV state and national studies, iCitizen (an app for people interested in politics), the Voting Rights Act, The 19th amendment's 95 birthday, a report on the LWV California Higher Ed Study, and criteria you might apply to the decision on whether or not you will sign a petition.
 

THE VOTER: SEPTEMBER 2015

The September 2015 includes information on the October 8 candidates' meeting (we could use volunteers), LWVSB parties for viewing the national candidate debates on October 13 and October 28 (bring snacks, Susan and John will provide beverages), voter registration (so far), Vial of Life, Barbara Sokoloff (LWVSB's observer of the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors), and Tech Corner - podcasts.

The October VOTER includes information on the October 8 Candidates' Forum, LWVSB debate watching parties, Vial of Life, Barbara Sokoloff - LWVSB's observer at the SBC Board of Supervisors' Meetings, Voter Registration Day, Tech Corner: Political Podcasts.
 

THE VOTER: NOVEMBER 2015

The November VOTER includes information on Voter Registration Drives, the October 8 Candidates Forum, Community Engagement meetings on the San Bernardino City Charter, and an invitation to the Money in Politics Consensus meeting.
 

THE VOTER: DECEMBER 2015

The December 2015 VOTER includes a recap of the Money in Politics Consensus meeting, a review of the movie The Suffragette, and information on the 2015 accomplishments of the National League of Women Voters.
