During the 2020 elections, Delawareans could vote in a variety of ways. We could go to the polls, vote absentee, or vote by mail. This made voting easy and actually increased voter turnout in Delaware by 7%.
LWVSC is asking its members and other concerned residents of Sussex County to voice their support for an amendment to the current Cluster Subdivision Ordinance that will extend its provisions to the Coastal Areas where they currently do not apply.
The League of Women Voters of the US has issued an action alert asking that members and other concerned citizens contact Congress and request action to protect the census from a shortened timeline that would sabotage results and negatively impact Congressional representation, redistricting, and funding allotments.

7/1/20 UPDATE: HB-346 was passed by the Senate on 6/25 and has now been signed by the Governor. Thanks for your help in getting this important piece of legislation passed. It allows for mail-in voting due to Covid-19 for 2020 elections.
