THURSDAY 4/18/2019:  Governor Carney to Kick-Off Earth Day with Transportation, Legislative  Announcements

SMYRNA, Del. – At 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, Governor Carney will kick-off Earth Day celebrations with announcements around transportation and legislation. Governor Carney will unveil the first electric Delaware Transit Corporation (DART) bus and announce his support for a ban on single-use plastic bags.

He will be joined by members of the General Assembly, Secretary Jennifer Cohan, Secretary Shawn Garvin, and advocates, for these announcements.

WHAT:  Governor Carney will kick-off Earth Day celebrations with announcements around transportation and legislation.
