The League of Women Voters of New Castle County held a virtual candidate forum for state Senate Districts 1, 5, 7 on Thursday. Oct 1. The forum was live-streamed to Facebook, and the videos in their entirety are available at facebook.com/lwvncc/live, and are also available here in this website article.

In compliance with Federal Elections Commission and IRS regulations for nonpartisan forums, at least two candidates for the same office must participate to procedure with a forum in any district. Candidates for state Senate Districts 9 and 13 were also invited to participate, but in each case one candidate was unavailable, so those districts could not be included in the forum.

Session 1, starting at 7 pm:
• District 1: Sarah McBride (D), Steven Washington (R)
• District 5: Catherine Cloutier (R), Kyle Evans Gay (D)
