The following voter registration/service activities are planned so far for April 2024. If you can assist for future New Castle County events, contact Patti Christopher or the League Office to volunteer.

• April 2nd Senior High Rise Apartments’ Board of Elections at Parkview Apts. on N. Broom Street. Wilmington
• April 11th from 4- 6 p.m. PAL Community Services at the Clarence Fraim Boys/Girls Club on S. Union Street, Wilmington
• April 17th - (still working out the time - probably 10 a.m. -2 p.m.) Central YMCA, Wilmington
• April 18th - 19th Equality Action Summit at the Chase Center on the Waterfront. Time is still a question.
• April 20th – Open Streets events starting in the City of Wilmington. This one will be North Walnut Street.
• May 1st - Salesianum High School from 10 a.m. -1 p.m.

The LWVNCC is currently working with students from the Wilmington Charter School for various events. Requests have also come from libraries, dates, and places TBD.

Patti is going to have a refresher training for election information and dates on Wednesday April 24th. If anyone is interested, please contact Patti. When you email her (or use the website contact form) let her know what time between 8am and 4pm would work best for you.
