The League of Women Voters of New Castle County (LWVNCC) President Richard Johnson's message for summer 2021 is included below...

am looking forward to being your President and the road ahead. Marj is going to be a hard act to follow. She has done an exceptional job of moving the organizations forward. My hope is that I can get into the groove quickly and Marj has been a big help at the start of my term.

In talking to many of you, you have expressed a desire to have a retreat for a day where we can hammer out issues and develop a path forward for the next 12 months. This would be a good start to deal with some of the key issues that I would like to address which revolve around Membership, Recruitment, Extended organizational involvement, Fundraising, Social Media and Issue.

I am open to other initiatives and thoughts you have so please email me with what you feel are areas that we can grow in the next 12 months. I would like to hear from anyone who has some ideas on the retreat.
