Dogfish Head Brewery Special Release Beer

In February 2020, Dogfish Head Brewery announced that they are developing a special beer to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment. The League of Women Voters of Sussex County, Delaware, suggested the idea and the Dogfish Head Ambassador Bryan Selders made the announcement at the LWVDE 100th Birthday Celebration on February 14th. The American Lager, developed by an all female brewing staff, has been dubbed "Centennial Suds." 

Virtual Happy Hour on August 26

The League of Women Voters of Delaware (LWVDE), in collaboration with Dogfish Head Brewery, is creating a digital Happy Hour to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage and the birth of the League of Women Voters. SAVE THE DATE!  August 26 @ 5:00 – 6:30 pm.

Meet some special guests, including some of Delaware’s women elected officials and the women brewers from Dogfish Head who invented the recipe and brewed the limited-edition Centennial Suds, and chat with League members from Delaware and around the nation in breakout rooms on Zoom.

Get your Centennial Suds at Dogfish Head Brewery and Eats in Rehoboth Beach starting on August 22 or bring your own favorite beverage and join the crowd.
