The League of Women Voters of New Castle County is planning a "guest bartender" fundraiser at the Brandywine Brewing Company (BBC) Tavern and Grill on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. This is our third such fundraiser, following a debut event in 2019 and reprise in 2022.
The BBC Tavern and Grill is a hip, casual, yet upscale tavern and grill in the heart of Delaware's Chateau Country. There is great food and lots of beers in bottles and on tap. There are cozy fireplaces and a beautiful patio, perfect scenery no matter the time of year.
Plan to Participate
All League members and community members are encouraged to participate. It's a great chance to catch up with League friends and support us fincancially at the same time! You can...
- Attend in person on the evening of Oct 25th, between 6 - 9 p.m.... (oops! not 5 to 9 as earlier stated)
- Come see your favorite guest bartender, and bump up his/her tip total! LWVNCC receives a portion of bar proceeds and tips.
- Eat dinner at the BBC. Mention LWV and we'll get a donation worth 10% of your table's dinner check.

Recruit a Guest Bartender!
LWVNCC is still recruiting guest bartenders for this year's event. No actual bartending experience is necessary! If you've always had a hankering to "pull a few pints," now is your chance! Or, if you know a lively, well-connected someone who'd be perfect for this role, volunteer them!
