LWVNCC is co-sponsoring this event organized by the Civic Engagement Committee of The Newark Partnership.

 

The Newark Partnership has several stakeholders: the University of Delaware’s Civic Engagement Initiative, The City of Newark, Newark businesses, Newark nonprofits, and the residents. The goal is to engage citizenry.

 

This is the first in a series called “Knowing Newark,” focusing on issues of importance in the community. Dr. Dan Rich, Policy Director of the Redding Consortium for Education Equality and Director of the University of Delaware’s Community Engagement Initiative, has agreed to present and facilitate discussion on public education in Delaware.
