1. TCI (Transportation Climate Initiative); what is next? Please review this article insidernj.com/press-release/growing-opposition-transportation-climate-initiative-tci-environmental-social-justice-groups-new-jersey-nationally. Note that the that the MOU includes a provision that 35% of the income from the transportation fuel auctions is earmarked for social justice communities. Nevertheless, how this is interpreted and if it is enough to satisfy us need to be continually re-examined.
2. Reorganization of our League positions, including an addition urged by Charlie, to put in "and electric vehicles" where the current position says that we support charging stations.
3. Two pieces of legislation the LWV has gone on record to support are House Bills 18 and 19, in support of clarifying the role of electric bicycles and tweaking the original Complete Communities Enterprise Districts bill, respectively.
