Hold on to your seat! This TED Talk will get you inspired. Al Gore who could be at times described as staid, brings out all of his passion for climate change in this presentation, “Averting the Climate Crisis.

In this presentation, Mr. Gore speaks to the current efforts at addressing the climate change crisis and some of the distractions from the focus on this global concern. The presentation shows a Sparky! Jazzed up! Impassioned! Al Gore with all stops pulled out to get people energized about the reality of what we as a global humanity are facing.

Albert Arnold Gore Jr. is an American politician, businessman, and environmentalist who served as the 45th vice president of the United States from 1993 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton.

After his term as vice-president, Gore has remained prominent as an author and environmental activist, whose work in climate change activism earned him (jointly with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, IPCC) the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. Gore is the founder and current chair of The Climate Reality Project,.
