February Topic - The US vs. itself (and other top global risks in 2024)

The Eurasia Group, headed by Ian Bremmer, publishes their annual forecast of the top geopolitical risks that they perceive are to play out in the new year. The February TED Talk will be a conversation with Ian Bremmer as he unpacks the forecasted risks for 2024, the top risk being “The US vs. Itself”. This presentation notes on one point, the impact of misinformation that is clouding the perspectives of Americans in particular. Though, a startling piece of the forecast analysis is on the US 2024 election, in the high stakes role that this election will play, in not only the future of the United States but the world. Other risks to our world are also discussed, which include the wars in Ukraine and Gaza.
