Bellefonte Town Elections are held annually on the first Tuesday in June at the Town Hall. However, the election will only be held if there is more than one candidate for a particular office. The polls are open from five o'clock p.m. to eight o'clock p.m. or for such other times as determined by a majority vote of Town Commission members.  (per www.townofbellefonte.com as of 5/28/2019, polls will be open from noon to 7 pm on Tuesday May 4, 2019)

For elections during odd years, two Town Commission members are up for election. For elections during even years, three Town Commission members are up for election. The Treasurer and Tax Collector positions are up for election every year.

The 2018 municipal elections for the Town of Bellefonte were cancelled because there were no contested seats.
