School Board Elections

Any citizen age 18 or older who lives in the school district may vote a school board election. It is not necessary to be pre-registered, but you must show identification documenting your address in the school district, such as a drivers' license, other registration card, recent utility bill, etc.

In 2019, elections will be held for contested seats in the Appoquinimink, Brandywine, Caesar Rodney, Cape Henlopen, Capital, Christina, Colonial, Delmar, Indian River, Lake Forest,and Seaford school districts.

Any voting-age district resident can vote at any open polling place. Find polling places on your school district website. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
