In October we will view and discuss Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's beautiful, classic TED Talk entitled "The danger of a single story." If you've never listened to TED before, this one just might win you over.

Our lives, our cultures, are composed of many overlapping stories. Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Adichie tells the story of how she found her authentic cultural voice -- and warns that if we hear only a single story about another person or country, we risk a critical misunderstanding.

Join us at our LWVNCC TED viewings to engage in genuine small-group dialogue on important societal issues. Mark this on your calendar - recurring from 1 to 3 pm on the third Saturday of each month.
