CURRENT TOPIC: Weekly Tesla Demonstrations

Tesla's billionaire CEO, Elon Musk, has been slashing government spending on behalf of President Donald Trump by gutting federal health, education and human services agencies as part of the White House's advisory commission called Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. LWVAC and partner organizations are participating in weekly peaceful protests at the local Telsa dealership to demonstrate our displeasure with these actions.

CURRENT ACTION: Join the Demonstrations

Join the demonstrations at the Gainesville Tesla dealership, 2501 N. Main Street from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Saturday until further notice. 

LWVAC President Janice Garry said, "I just returned from protesting in front of the Tesla dealership at 2501 N. Main Street. There were over 100 protesters, twice as many as the prior week."
