On March 2nd, the LWV of Alachua County and Santa Fe College Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences hosted an exciting and timely, in-person panel discussion on the U.S. Supreme Court Case, Moore v. Harper, and the potential impacts on our elections and democracy as we know it.

"The Case Against Democracy: Moore v. Harper and the Threat of Electoral Mayhem" was presented by panelists Dr. Alan Beck, Professor of Political Sciences at Santa Fe College Social and Behavioral Sciences and Professor Lyrissa Lidsky, the Raymond & Miriam Ehrlich Chair in U.S. Constitutional Law at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and moderated by Donna Waller, retired Professor of Political Science and a League of Women Voters of Alachua County Nominating Committee Chair.

Thanks to our partners at Santa Fe College, a recording of that event is now available.
