The LWVAC Matheson Museum Partnership Committee and the Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Committees are hosting a combined meeting at Janice's house. They will be discussing how the upcoming Voice and Votes exhibit at the Matheson fit in with our GOTV efforts. Contact Janice if you would like to attend.

This League at the Library event will take place at the Library Partnership Branch and will be an indoor event. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to man the table.

During LWVAC's 2024 Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Campaign for the 2024 Election Season, the Voter Services team is organizing multiple Alachua County Library tabling events. The goal is to have a table at each of the 12 libraries once a month for 2 hours at peak times until November. We hope to increase League visibility and engage with current and potential voters, especially young people.

Please note, this meeting has been changed from 6/18 to 6/20 to accommodate our guest speaker, Alachua County Commissioner Anna Prizzia.

LWVAC's new Gun Violence Prevention & Safety Committee will meet by Zoom on the third Tuesday of each month. As part of our Listen and Learn series, we are hoping to hear from a representative from Alachua County regarding their efforts to reduce gun violence. We will then discuss our own activities to augment those efforts.
