Action Alerts

Early voting began today. Mail in voting is ongoing. The last day to vote in this election is November 5. Our focus continues to be informing voters, and the way you can help is by passing out League handouts to your friends, neighbors and groups. The best place for people to get information on their ballot choices is the League VOTE411.org site. Each of our handouts has a QR code that directs people to VOTE411.org...

News

The League of Women Voters of Florida (LWVFL) and Alachua County (LWVAC) worked tirelessly to get Amendment 4 (limiting government interference with abortion) on the November ballot. Now the task is to ensure that it passes with the 60% required. That takes money, and that’s what motivated LWVAC members Shayna Rich, Alison Keel, and Candy Birch, along with Candi Churchill and J. Maggio, to host a YES ON 4 fundraiser on Oct 15.
