The LWV of Alachua County Voter Services team is tabling at the Fifth Avenue Art Festival at CIED Santa Fe College in Blount Hall (530 W University Ave).

This League at the Library event will take place at the High Springs Branch Library and will be an inside event. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to man the table.

During LWVAC's 2024 Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Campaign for the 2024 Election Season, the Voter Services team is organizing multiple Alachua County Library tabling events. The goal is to have a table at each of the 12 libraries once a month for 2 hours at peak times until November. We hope to increase League visibility and engage with current and potential voters, especially young people.

Stefanie Gadaleon, president of the LWV UF Chapter, is coordinating a reading of the book, "I Can't Wait to Vote" at Girls Place on April 24 at 3:30 p.m. The story is a great introduction to civic engagement, understanding representation, and how all of us have a say in our local, state, and national government.
