Gainesville City Commissioners will begin redrawing district maps early next year and they’re seeking input from residents. A new online mapping tool will allow users to create their own district maps for commissioners to consider and the City has partnered with the University of Florida for an interactive demonstration next Tuesday at 5:30 pm at Pugh Hall on the UF campus. The City has also partnered with the Alachua County Library District to offer desktop links to the mapping tool on all Gainesville public library computers.
