Join Yes on 4 and LWV as we work to end government interference with abortion!
This Super Saturday is the very first statewide canvass launch! Together we will learn the best practices for canvassing and how to talk to voters about supporting the Amendment to Limit Government Interference with Abortion! During this event, participants will be paired up with a fellow volunteer and have the opportunity use their new skills to identify Yes on 4 supporters and promote Amendment 4 to a broader audience.
Walking door to door to voters' houses (i.e., canvassing) ensures we will have face to face conversations to see if more folks want to step up in support.
Come out to Super Saturday 6/22 at 10am at How Bazar (60 SW 2nd St) with comfortable shoes, water, sunscreen, and a hat. Advance registration encouraged but not required. If you advance register you will receive info about downloading the Minivan app on your phone, so that you will be able to access a canvass list on the day of Super Saturday. We will do a brief training and then go out in pairs to door knock at voters' houses expected to be supportive to help build the campaign. After we gain this experience and skill, at future canvasses we can move on to talking to voters who may not yet be in support.
