The Covid pandemic demonstrated that there are significant health disparities experienced in racial and ethnic minorities.  The January program will feature Speaker Frank Diaz-Gines, the SW Regional Health Equity Coordinator for the Florida Department of Health.  Given this mandate, he seeks to partner and collaborate with local groups and organizations to help advance health equity and improve health outcomes across demographic groups.

Frank Diaz-Gines graduated from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor's Degree in Science and holds a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus.  He has over 20 years experience in the health care field both in private and public settings.
