Gaby Aguirre, Communications Director, Lee County Supervisor of Elections Office holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Florida Gulf Coast University and has been a key member of the Lee County Supervisor of Elections Communications Department since 2019. She specializes in media relations and strategic communications, playing a vital role in ensuring voters are informed and confident in the election process.

Juan Diez, Community Education Services Director, Lee County Supervisor of Elections Office started working in the elections field right before the 2016 General Election. Before Juan joined the elections office as a full-time employee, he worked at community events as a Patriot (a part-time, temporary election worker). In April 2017, he became one of the Community Education Services Department (CESD) Coordinators, and he was promoted to CESD Director at the end of 2019. Juan completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages.

Juan speaks four languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French at an intermediate level. He has more than 10 years of customer service experience, which is why he says he shares the passion for educating our Lee County constituents on the importance of voting through outreach events and educational presentations.

With nearly a decade of experience building civic engagement programs across Florida, she leads ID outreach and education, legislative advocacy, voter ID training, and direct assistance efforts to ensure every eligible voter has the documents they need to participate in our democracy.
