Recording:  Reproductive Rights & Healthcare - What Now and What's Next After Roe vs. Wade?, January 8, 2022

Everyone should be concerned about what will change if the Supreme Court overturns or weakens the Supreme Court's previous decision on Roe vs. Wade after 50 years.  Reproductive rights are under siege in state legislatures and federal courts. In addition, access to reproductive health care and the rights of all to medical assistance on issues such as gender identity is threatened with planned closings of Planned Parenthood Healthcare Centers.

The speakers Amy Weintraub and Jo Shim are both Past Chairs of the LWV Florida Reproductive Health and Justice Action Team.  Currently Amy is the Reproductive Rights Program Director for Progress Florida.  Jo is a long-time advocate for access to health care, especially reproductive care.  Amy and Jo are both members of LWV Florida local leagues.
