RUNNING FOR OFFICE IN CONCORD

Have you considered running for elected office in Concord? Would you like to work on a local candidate's campaign?

The League's “How to Run for Office” workshop was held on Saturday, November 16th, 2019. Attendees learned the nuts and bolts of getting elected from workshop panelists Town Clerk Kaari Tari, Select Board member Susan Bates, School Committee member Cynthia Rainey, Housing Authority member Ed Larner, and Town Moderator Carmen Reiss. Topics included the election cycle, campaign finance laws, running a campaign, and other ways to get involved with town government.
