Ways to Vote: Read carefully!
Massachusetts has recently passed the VOTES Act, so there are new options for voting.
Voting by mail
Voting by mail is now available for all elections with no excuse required.
You should have received an application for mail-in ballots in the mail. It must be returned by August 29th to ensure you will receive a ballot in time for the election.
Didn’t receive an application in the mail? You can get one from the Town Clerk at the Concord Town House (22 Monument Square) or Carlisle Town Hall (66 Westford Street) or get one on-line here:
IMPORTANT ballot application details:
On your application, you must indicate which party’s ballot you want to receive, even if you are enrolled as an “independent” or “unenrolled”. Choosing a party’s ballot for the primary will not affect your party registration. If you do not choose a party on your primary ballot application, you will not receive a primary ballot.
Don’t forget to sign your application!
