The Environmental Committee of the League of Women Voters of Concord-Carlisle and the Concord Free Public Library invite you to join a free screening of "Dark Waters.” The 2019 Hollywood movie tells the true story of Attorney Rob Bilott, portrayed by Mark Ruffolo, who uncovered one of the worst cases of environmental contamination in modern history. Upon discovering the devastating effects of PFAS, also known as Forever Chemicals, on human health, Bilott forced corporations to be held accountable and still works today to ensure communities are able to protect themselves.
