For information on absentee voting, click here. No-excuse in-person absentee voting begins two weeks before each election (Oct. 22 for the Nov. 5 election). Vote at your local election authority office or at your nearest satellite voting site.
A recent law the League is challenging in court requires a photo ID issued by the state of Missouri or the federal government to vote. Voters without a valid ID can cast a provisional ballot at their polling place on Election Day but their signature will have to match one on file with the election authority to count. For more information on changes that took effect on Aug. 28, 2022, go to the Missouri Secretary of State's website.
Voters may request an absentee ballot for a single election or on a permanent basis. Seniors and disabled voters can contact their local election authority to be placed on the permanently disabled list. Voters on that list are sent an absentee ballot before each election and don’t need to have their ballots notarized.
