The League of Women Voters of Billings and the Billings Public Library invite the public to attend an event on October 15th at 5:30 p.m. to help the public get to know the candidates for Billings City Council before the November election.

Facilitated by the League of Women Voters, the event will take place at the Billings Public Library, meeting the Community Room.  All presentations are free and open to the public. The format for the event is threefold:

1.  Introductions.  Candidates from all Wards are invited to give a short introduction.

2.  Questions and Answers.  We will then break out into smaller groups where a moderator will ask questions pre-submitted by the voters in writing.  This format will facilitate a casual conversation between the candidates and the moderator.

3.  Social Time.  We will all meet back in the Community Room to enjoy light refreshments and visit casually with the candidates.
