A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION LIKE THE LWVNCC IS ONLY AS GOOD AS ITS MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO BE INVOLVED WHERE YOU CAN BE THE MOST PRODUCTIVE AND SATISFIED. Check all the areas you're interested in participating in.

Advocacy Corps - Determines which legislative bills to support, oppose or monitor. Meets 2nd Wed. morning each month in Dover or by Zoom.

Climate Change/Energy - Focused on support of an offshore wind project for DE.

Criminal Justice - Works with coalition partners on criminal justice reform.

Elections - Alternative voting methods, Election System, School Board Elections.

Health Care - Statewide advocacy committee meets monthly via zoom.

Land Use/Transp - Follows county & state land use and transportation issues.

Membership Committee - Contact and involve the membership, plan socials, "Hot Topics" educational events and activities.

Natural Resources - Follows issues affecting our environment and quality of life.
