An election will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 8am to 6pm at the Townsend Municipal Building, 141 Main Street in Townsend. This election is to fill the three (3) Town Council seats currently held by Rudy Sutton, Lorraine Gorman and Steve High.

Six candidates have filed to run for the three open seats:  Anthony Franco, Scott Lobdell, Thomas A. McDonald, Richard Palumbo, Dr. Marcelle J. Paschall-Wiggins & Deidre K. Sosa. 

To be eligible to vote in this election you must:

  • Be a registered voter in the State of Delaware, New Castle County
  • Be 18 years of age
  • Be a citizen of the United States
  • Be a resident within the Incorporated Town limits or be the legal owner of property within the corporate limits of the Town of Townsend 

ALL VOTERS WILL BE ASKED TO PRESENT PHOTO IDENTIFICATION ON THE DAY OF THE ELECTION.
