Nearly two-thirds of Americans believe racism is still a major problem in American society and politics. Since 2016, significantly fewer Americans are satisfied with the way immigrants, African Americans, Latinos, and Asians are treated.
Representative Mark DeSaulnier wants to have an open and honest discussion about race in America and in our backyard. "Conversation on Race," is a series of town halls he is hosting with special guests and leading researchers to facilitate more understanding, healing, and progress to help us move forward as a nation. Information on the first event in this series, held on February 3, 2018, can be found here.
