February referendum votes in Brandywine, Red Clay and Colonial districts were passed by the voters. Referenda in Appoquinimink in December and Smyrna in March failed. Appoquinimink will re-try its failed referendum on April 23, 204.

On March 19, 2024, the Delaware Department of Elections announced that the DE Presidential Primary election scheduled for April 2, 2024 will not be held, as only one candidate remains on each major party ticket.
The Sussex League of Women Voters' "Defending Democracy: Then and Now" mini film fest on 3/18 was a great success! It was a sold-out event thanks to distinguished panelists, generous donors, and our wonderful volunteers.
