WASHINGTON (June 2020) – The League of Women Voters of the United States issued the following statement in reference to the murder of George Floyd:


Stand Against Racism is a signature campaign of YWCA USA to build community among those who work for racial justice and to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in our communities. This campaign is one part of our larger national strategy to fulfill our mission of eliminating racism. The campaign was founded by YWCAs Trenton and Princeton in 2007 and adopted by YWCA USA in 2015.

League of Women Voters of Delaware

The ACLU of Delaware filed a lawsuit against the Department of Elections to order that the Department of Elections accept all ballots mailed by Election Day and received within 10 days of the election. The League of Women Voters of DE is a plaintiff in the suit.
