California is preparing for our once-in-a-decade redistricting process -- and we need your help to ensure the diversity of our state is reflected in our new voting maps!
After the 2020 census, California is required to draw new State Legislative and Congressional voting boundaries to reflect any and all population changes. In our state, voters put a commission of 14 ordinary citizens in charge of drawing the maps to ensure the process is fair and representative of our communities.
That's where you come in. We want you to apply to serve on the commission!
Join California Common Cause for our All Things Redistricting: CA Citizens Redistricting Commission Application Kickoff. Come hear from the community and experts on the importance of having everyday Californians like you draw the district lines for our State Legislative and Congressional districts.
