Two LWVNCC members were among the honorees at the Newark NAACP Freedom Fund Awards Banquet held on October 20, 2019 at the Executive Banquet & Conference Center in the Glasgow area of Newark, DE.

The evening featured musical and oral performances from Khayden, Terence Savagel, and Madison S. Washington. Keynote speaker was public affairs and relationship management specialist G. Stephen Williams. Newark NAACP President Dr. Freeman Williams, and Delaware NAACP Administrator Scot X. Esdaile also took turns at the podium, ably coordinated by masters of ceremony Shaniya Lewis and Amani Thurman.
