Presidential Primary Election: Polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Only registered voters from participating parties may vote.
This election was rescheduled from April 28, 2020 as part of Delaware's emergency response measures for the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Delaware Department of Elections will mail absentee ballot request forms to all Delawareans who are eligible to vote in this election. Per Governor Carney's emergency order, citizens are to use the "sick" or "physically disabled" reason codes when requesting an absentee ballot due to social isolation or quarantine in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
A reduced number of physical polling places will be open on election day. Due to this special circumstance, voters will be able to use any open polling place within their county.
