James Kahn, MD, MPH, UCSF Professor Emeritus and health policy researcher, gives an overview of the US health systems that drive access to and cost of healthcare in the nation. Joining Dr. Kahn are Yolo County healthcare officials and experts representing community agencies which provide health care services and advocate for the uninsured and underinsured residents of the county.

The goal of this presentation is to help voters better understand and compare a Public Option Proposal with a Universal Care, Single Payer System through a public presentation to the community in time to help voters better appreciate November 2020 candidate healthcare positions in debates and forums.
