March Topic - Choosing Common Ground

This TEDx Talk is as much a presentation on communication as it is on advocating for Social Justice. "The Radical Act of Choosing Common Ground," presented by Nisha Anand, sets out a strategy for stepping closer to unity through an approach to conversation that is based on finding common ground. In using, the common ground approach she has achieved lasting radical change by partnering with people she least expected to ever work with. Ms. Anand tells her story of working with her ‘ideological opposites’ to make history and in the process, saved lives.

Ms. Anand is an activist and CEO of Dream Corps. Nisha Anand working with her team of storytellers, organizers, and policy experts, works for criminal justice reform, green economies, and tech equity to create cutting edge solutions for the tough issues.
