2021 City Election for New Castle, Delaware
City of New Castle elections are held on the second Saturday in April, every second year (on odd-numbered years). The election on Saturday, April 10, 2021 is for City Council President and two Council Members.
Residents within city limits are eligible to vote if they are at least 18 years old on election day, have lived in the city for 30 days prior to the election, and have registered to vote with the State of Delaware at least five 5 days prior.
For the 2021 election, due to the COVID-19 pandemic all registered City of New Castle voters may vote by absentee ballot. Absentee Ballots are available from the City Office.
