• The Last Chance Voter Registration Drive is in the works for August 30 so citizens can be reminded to update their registrations. Although citizens can still register and vote in the recall election if this cutoff is missed, it is far easier for all concerned to get it done on or before the August 30th deadline.
• National Voter Registration Day is scheduled for September 28.  We are partnering with the county elections department on this day, and will work with other volunteer groups to register students, seniors, people who have moved – the usual suspects… as they said in “Casablanca” (the movie…).
