January Topic - Climate Action

We all have heard reports from the COP 26 UN climate conference, recently held in Scotland. The TED Talk for this month is a summation from the perspective of Halla Tómasdóttir. In this talk, Use Your Voice, Vote, and Wallet for Climate Action, Ms. Tómasdóttir sums up to outcomes of the gathering and the progress that she is seeing. She also outlines actions not only for governments, but business, and individuals as well. It is proposed that it is critical that we all recognize our own individual power by using our voice, vote, and wallet to “catalyze meaningful climate action.” Ms. Tómasdóttir notes: 

The most difficult work of our lifetimes has to happen in the next few years.
