Board Briefs:
At its meeting on October 13, the Board took the following actions:
- Accepted $1300 in contributions from other Leagues to assist with expenses for our Pros & Cons videos
- Approved contributing $500 to LWVC Education Fund for Voter’s Edge
The Board also:
- Heard that the Communications Team is looking for help with Facebook and a Team Chair
- Discussed the focus for this year’s fundraising campaign
- Met with League Coach Lianne Campodonico to discuss membership trends
- Congratulated Voter Services Team members on successful forums this election season
- Noted that two community colleges set up voting information centers with the assistance of LWVDV
- Noted that Contra Costa County is a leader in the number of candidates posting on Voter’s Edge
- Reviewed the draft of the new membership survey
- Heard that Legislative Interviews will be the focus of the Action/Advocacy Committee in December

This is the regular monthly meeting of the LWV Diablo Valley Board. Agenda items may include financial reports, advocacy decisions and updates, voter service activity plans and information, program planning for future studies and meetings, and membership update.
All League meetings are open to the public.
